Options that are right for you.

At the Blende Dental Group, we know that different patients have different sedation needs. Some need more, others need less. We will not try to treat you using a particular sedation modality simply because it is the only one we offer. Because we offer every sedation option, we are able to design a treatment plan that offers the sedation modality that is tailored to your specific needs.

The One-Sleep-Visit™ Total Dentistry Method.

Last year, patients from 24 states and 16 countries traveled to the Blende Dental Group to receive the One-Sleep-Visit™ Total Dentistry Method. One-Sleep-Visit allows you to have your mouth fully restored in one comprehensive procedure while you are asleep and with no pain. Treatment with One-Sleep-Visit can be used to restore your mouth no matter what condition your teeth and gums are in, or how long it’s been since you’ve seen a dentist.

The difference between Sedation and Sleep Dentistry:

“Sedation dentistry” is a very broad and confusing term that includes any type of sedation used in dentistry. It is best to think of sedation as a continuum from awake and alert to completely asleep and unaware. More simply put, it can be categorized as conscious sedation (awake) and unconscious sedation (asleep).

Conscious sedation in dentistry typically involves using oral pills (such as Halcion or Valium) or Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) which will make you feel drowsy, but should not put you to sleep. Unconscious sedation involves the use of I.V. sedation or general anesthesia, which produces complete sleep during which you will be free of pain and will have no memory of the procedure.

Most patients who seek treatment at the Blende Dental Group do so for our unique One-Sleep-Visit Total Dentistry Method. They want to be completely asleep for their comprehensive dentistry and wake up with a healthy new smile.
