Insight into what drives us.

I never thought I would work with people with special needs. They require more energy out of me than most of the patients that I see every day because I have to focus so much more, yet bring my energy down so that they are not overwhelmed or frightened while we are trying to even simple procedures – or simply understand where exactly their dental health is at that particular moment.

And it’s amazing to work not only with the doctors but with the other assistants to try to keep the energy as low as possible so everything is calm and quiet. To reach the end of the procedure with a successful, comprehensive exam that allows us to work up a real diagnosis is really the result of our working togeher to achieve sucess for our patients. It allows us to bring them back to good dental health. I am very fortunate, very lucky to be here and I appreciate what we are doing.

We care for an under-served patient population – those who are phobic, disabled, or medically compromised. These are the patients who are seeking definitive full-mouth rehabilitation in a private practice setting that fulfills their expectations.

As the Practice Manager here at the Blende Dental Group, I deal primarily with the business issues, which means I don’t often have the privilege of meeting many of our patients. But I know a lot about them, through their charts, their thank-you letters, and through the stories of my staff, who hold the patients they care for near and dear to their hearts.
